AHU and guest-floor riser cleaning for a business hotel, Mumbai

Client identity withheld where confidentiality applies. The spine is always the same: Challenge → Inspection → Execution → Evidence → Outcome.

01Challenge

A full-service hotel had persistent dust complaints on renovated floors and no visibility into the condition of its duct risers, which had never been inspected end to end.

02Inspection

Robotic crawlers surveyed representative risers and AHU runs during low-occupancy windows. Footage revealed construction-era debris and accumulated dust loading along horizontal runs.

03Execution

Cleaning was zoned floor by floor under negative-pressure containment, with access panels added at riser bases. Work ran overnight; guest floors were handed back each morning.

04Evidence

Pre- and post-clean robotic footage, photographic records and a zone-wise completion report were compiled into a single handover dossier for the engineering office.

05Outcome

Dust complaints on treated floors subsided and the hotel now holds a documented baseline for its duct network — the reference point for future maintenance cycles.
