Compliance language is often blurred on purpose. This page separates what DCC belongs to from what DCC works to — because the difference matters to auditors, insurers and facility teams.
The three kinds of relationship
Membership is not certification is not a standard.
Membership
DCC is a paying, active member of the body. Membership connects our teams to the body's standards, training and professional community. It is not an audit of every project — it is a commitment to the body's framework.
Certification
A formal credential earned against a defined syllabus or audit. Where DCC or its technicians hold certifications, they are stated plainly with the issuing body.
Referenced standard / applicable framework
A published standard or regulation that governs the client's facility or the work — for example NFPA 96 for commercial cooking ventilation, or FSSAI Schedule 4 for food-business hygiene. DCC scopes and verifies work against these frameworks; they are not memberships and we never present them as such.

Member
The global association for HVAC inspection, cleaning and restoration. DCC's membership aligns its duct-cleaning method with the NADCA ACR standard.
IKECA
International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association
Member
The international association for kitchen exhaust cleaning specialists. Membership keeps DCC's exhaust-cleaning method aligned with IKECA's codes and best practices.
NFPA 96
National Fire Protection Association
Referenced standard
NFPA 96 is the referenced fire-safety standard for ventilation control and fire protection of commercial cooking operations. DCC scopes and verifies kitchen exhaust work against it. This is a standard DCC works to — not a membership.
FSSAI — Schedule 4
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India
Applicable hygiene framework
FSSAI Schedule 4 sets the sanitary and hygiene requirements Indian food businesses must meet. DCC's kitchen hygiene and exhaust work helps client facilities satisfy them. This is an applicable framework — not a certification held by DCC.

Member
India's association for fire and security professionals. DCC's membership connects its fire-risk-sensitive exhaust work to the national fire-safety community.
